Programmatically creating new shortcuts…


A week or so back I had a need to deploy shortcuts to users which pointed them to a variable - in this case, %userprofile% - instead of a fixed location. You can’t do this by simply copying the .lnk file - you actually need to create the shortcut on the fly. Here’s how… (more…)
